Steps

1. Run git status --short.
2. Review diffs for files you changed.
3. Do not stage unrelated files.
4. Do not rewrite history unless explicitly requested.
5. Do not push without explicit permission.
6. Summarize changed files and validation.

Notes

If the folder is not a git repository, say so and continue with filesystem checks.
