Energy economics
Separate fuel energy, demand, fixed charges, incentives, carbon factors, and implementation cost. Identify whether each rate is verified, candidate, blended, or illustrative; do not use a blended rate without warning when demand charges matter.
State time period, escalation/sensitivity assumptions, emissions-factor source, and whether results are simple payback or lifecycle economics. Never invent installed cost, incentive, tariff assignment, or bill components absent from source evidence. Use utility-tariff for rate provenance.
