Context: $ARGUMENTS

Protocol:

1. Detect active mode/lifecycle from context or .omg/state/* when available.
2. Stop current autonomous/team loop gracefully without discarding progress (this applies to all modes, including interview).
3. Clear stale active-skill markers and cancellation drift:
   • if no skill is actively running, clear stale .omg/state/skill-active.* markers
   • emit/update a compact cancel signal artifact for deterministic resume behavior
4. Summarize completed work, in-flight work, blockers, taskboard status, current lane/subagent handoff, and remaining TODOs.
5. Provide a minimal resume plan with one recommended next command.
6. Read .omg/state/session-lock.json before persisting shared cancel artifacts.
7. If filesystem tools are available:
   • if the current orchestration session owns the lock, write/update .omg/state/checkpoint.md and .omg/state/cancel-signal.json
   • otherwise write .omg/state/sessions/[session-slug]/checkpoint.md and .omg/state/sessions/[session-slug]/cancel-signal.json instead of overwriting shared state
