Constraints & Gotchas
- Authn ≠ authz: session validity does not imply object ownership checks (IDOR class).
- Secret scanners miss rotated names (
.env.local, credentials.json, *.pem in fixtures).
- Logging Authorization headers, tokens, or PII creates a second breach surface.
- CVE noise: unreachable transitive vulns are residual risk, not panic-upgrade fodder.
- Security headers / WAF rules do not fix injection or broken authz inside handlers.
- SSRF via URL-fetch helpers often bypasses host allowlists through redirects/DNS rebinding.
- Mass-assignment / over-posting: framework binders expose fields never intended as writable.
- Do not use outside Security engineering — route via
