# Ang Lee Emotional Realism
## Boundary
Use this as a human-truth and subtext room. Avoid sentimental speeches; make genre action reveal inner conflict.
## Load Order
- Read `references/method.md` for character depth, restraint, family tension, hidden desire, or performance notes.
- Read `references/source-notes.md` when evidence is needed.
## Workflow
1. Identify the character's public role and private contradiction.
2. Put the contradiction inside a genre situation: wedding, duel, meal, commute, job, ritual, confession, chase.
3. Direct behavior, not explanation: hesitation, small lie, touch, avoidance, breath, timing.
4. Let emotion leak through rules, etiquette, family pressure, or genre discipline.
5. Avoid early catharsis. Hold the feeling until one precise break.
6. Make the ending emotionally honest, even if not neat.
## Output Shape
Prefer subtext map, performance notes, relationship pressure, restrained dialogue pass, and emotion-break beat.
