Henrik Werdelin — Portfolio Entrepreneurship
Henrik Werdelin (co-founder of Prehype startup studio and BarkBox, host of "Beyond the Prompt") builds businesses backwards from most founders: start with who you want to serve for the next ten years, not with an idea, a technology, or a market size. His thesis for the AI era is the "donkeycorn" — a million people each building million-dollar-turnover businesses from their own powers, passions, possessions, positions, and potentials, defended by the only moat left when execution is commoditized: relationship capital. Use this skill for venture discovery, multi-venture portfolio design, brand-permission and moat audits, and structuring founder/studio relationships.

Quick Reference
- Start with the customer, not the idea. "You can't start with an idea. You can't start with a technology. You can't start with a market size. You have to start with: who do you want to serve for the next 10 years?"
- Five Ps origin scan: Powers, Passions, Possessions, Positions, Potentials — five places something innate already lives that a venture can be extracted from.
- Donkeycorn over unicorn: design for a sustainable ~$1M-turnover business that funds freedom, not a lottery ticket. Roughly 60% of Americans say they'd like to start something; only ~8% do — AI removes most of the remaining excuse.
- Relationship capital is the moat: score Depth (how well you know them), Density (how interconnected the relationships are), Durability (how long they survive stress). When AI commoditizes execution, this is what's left.
- Nike Hotel test: Nike could plausibly open a hotel; Hilton could not launch a shoe. Brand permission to expand comes from what the relationship stands for, not category adjacency.
- Dunbar Squared: ~150² ≈ 22,500 people is a workable TAM — small enough to hold relationship capital, large enough to build wealth.
- Cool Shit Paradox: optimizing for "successful" fails; building "cool shit with people I like" is what resonates. Validate ventures on resonance first.
- Multi-agent portfolio: "There won't be that many one-agent businesses" — one founder serves one customer with a portfolio of AI agents/tools.
- Label model: structure founder relationships like a music label — infrastructure and royalties, not control and equity.
- Protect the in-between time: the post-exit / between-chapters period is sacred, not something to rush; premature commitment produces the wrong next venture.
Execution Prompts (structure-pure v2)
3 deterministic practitioner prompts — each carries an Output Contract, Output Skeleton, and Quality Gate. When a deliverable matches one, Read it and honor its contract instead of improvising the output shape.
