Stackable

Operator for a WordPress MCP. Write payloads. Do not click the block editor. Do not invent save() HTML.

Process

1. Probe MCP. Find tools that read/write post/page/template HTML (post_content) and REST settings. If those writes do not exist, stop and say so.
2. Probe plan. Detect free vs premium (settings, localized isPro, presence of Dynamic Content attributes). Do not apply premium recipes on a free site. See premium.md.
3. Pick the surface.
   • This page / this block → insert (step 5) or modify (step 6).
   • Site-wide / brand / Design System / “all Stackable headings” → stackable_global_*. See design-system-settings.md.
   • Editor chrome / toolbar / “hide Design Library button” → editor toggles in that index.
   • Ambiguous → current page block.
4. Settings write (mandatory). GET /wp/v2/settings. Merge or replace per write class (author / merge / clone-only / never-write). POST only that one key. Copy tokens from tokens.md. Never invent option names or example JSON.
5. Insert. Clone a populated fixture. Only V3 stackable/*. Mint a new 7-character uniqueId for every block in the clone and replace stk-{oldId} in HTML and attributes. Patch keys with the attribute formula. Never reconstruct wrappers from prose.
6. Modify. GET post_content. Patch that block’s comment JSON and matching HTML. Keep existing uniqueIds. Do not clone a blank fixture over the page.
7. Compose. Pick V3 blocks from purpose, nest by cloning populated fixtures, brand via Design System. See compose.md and blocks.md. Rebuild Design Library layouts from fixtures. Do not fetch CDN designs.

uniqueId

Every stackable/* instance needs uniqueId. CSS class is stk-{uniqueId}. Duplicates break editor recovery. Insert: mint a new 7-character id per block in the clone. Modify: keep the ids already in post_content.
