Anti-Slop Rules (Hard Constraints)

Avoid unless explicitly requested:

• Generic gradient blobs, aurora backgrounds, random glassmorphism
• The same hero: big headline + subhead + 2 buttons + floating cards + logos
• Over-illustrated icons as filler
• Fake specificity: "sleek, modern, clean"

Every choice needs a reason: "We chose X because it supports Y behavior" (readability, trust, speed, craft, density).

Required fields:

2. Primary goal: convert / book call / sign up / showcase / sell / educate
3. Audience: who, what they know, what they distrust
4. Brand adjectives (3): precise, warm, playful, stark, craft, editorial, futuristic, calm, premium, scrappy
5. Constraints: stack, timeline, brand, accessibility, performance, content
6. Differentiator: what's true that competitors can't claim
7. Deliverable: (A) direction + tokens, (B) component spec, (C) page blueprint, (D) coded starter

Then: commit to a direction with a one-paragraph design thesis.

2) Design Spine (Choose ONE)

3) Typography System

Strategy (choose one):

• Single variable sans (cohesive, modern)
• Serif + sans pairing (editorial authority)
• Sans + mono accent (technical credibility)

Specify:

• Font names with fallbacks, max 5 weights
• Type scale: 6-9 steps (e.g., 12/14/16/20/28/40/64)
• Line-height: body 1.5-1.7, headings 1.05-1.2
• Letter-spacing: labels +2-6%, large display 0 to -2%

Personality check: Does the type match brand adjectives?

4) Layout + Rhythm

Define:

• Breakpoints (mobile/tablet/desktop/large)
• Grid (columns + gutters + max width)
• Spacing scale: 4 or 8 base, stick to it
• Section rhythm: consistent vertical spacing (96/72/48/32)

Optional: one deliberate asymmetry per section, repeated as motif.

• Neutral-dominant + single accent (most reliable)
• Duotone (two brand colors + neutrals)
• Muted palette + strong type (editorial)

Always define:

• Background, surface, text, subtle, border, accent, accent-contrast

Rule: If you need lots of color for interest, typography/layout isn't doing enough.
