Write the merge-gate irreversibility check for the current diff. Use before proposing any merge or opening a PR in this repo — it scans the diff for one-way doors (golden re-pins, migrations, world_mutations write paths, world_meta pins, era-bank edits, GENERATOR_VERSION changes) and produces the 2–3 line check CLAUDE.md requires in every merge request.
Deliberately re-pin the golden freeze digests after a conscious generator change. Use ONLY when tests/test_continuity_freeze.py fails AND changing what new worlds are born as is the intent, ratified by the human — never to make CI green.

docs/CHANGELOG.md is the running deviation-and-surprise log the next cold
session navigates by. One entry per change batch, written so a reader who
wasn't there learns what actually happened — quantify surprises, don't just
describe outcomes.
Entries live under ## [Unreleased] → ### Added or ### Fixed, newest
first. Each entry is ONE bullet with this shape:
Verified: sentence — the actual check outcomes: Ruff green,
N Python passed, N Vitest passed, bundle byte-fresh,
installed-wheel smoke, Playwright count if E2E ran.**Irreversibility check:** closing line — produced by the
irreversibility-check skill; "none — " for most batches, or the
ratified one-way-door statement when a door was consciously walked
through.docs/evaluation/YYYY-MM-DD-<name>.md in the same PR, and the entry
points at it.docs/decisions/ house style (Context /
Decision / Trade-offs accepted / Revisit when… / Rejected alternatives),
preferably written before building.
