Design Leadership Review
Use this skill when the question is not just "is the design good?" but "is the organization making the right design decision?"
This is a Praneet-specific hand-port enhancement. It adds a Chief Design Officer lens to the existing GStack design and GBrain reporting surface.
Workflow
- Identify the decision:
- product decision
- design system decision
- org or process decision
- quality bar decision
- research or ethics decision
- Check design leadership dimensions:
- principles in play
- user and business tradeoffs
- quality bar
- critique culture
- stakeholder alignment
- resourcing and ownership
- decision durability
- Review the evidence:
- design artifacts
- research
- accessibility evidence
- responsible design risks
- engineering constraints
- Produce an executive recommendation:
- decision
- rationale
- dissent or risks
- what to revisit later
- how the decision should be recorded
- Save durable outputs through
reports, capture, or outcome-memory.
Guardrails
- Do not substitute executive taste for user evidence.
- Do not flatten dissent when a decision has real tradeoffs.
- Escalate to
responsible-design-review or accessibility-review when those concerns are material.
