# coinmarketcap
CoinMarketCap cryptocurrency market data
## When to Activate
- Use **coinmarketcap** from an MCP-aware client
- Payments & Finance tasks that coinmarketcap supports
- Register coinmarketcap via `claude mcp add` or `.mcp.json`
## Installation
coinmarketcap is an MCP server (stdio transport). Register it with Claude Code:

```
