# github-copilot
GitHub Copilot code completion service
## When to Activate
- Use **github-copilot** from an MCP-aware client
- Developer Tools tasks that github-copilot supports
- Register github-copilot via `claude mcp add` or `.mcp.json`
## Installation
github-copilot is an MCP server (stdio transport). Register it with Claude Code:

claude mcp add github-copilot -- npx @github/copilot-mcp
```
Or add to `.mcp.json`:
