Persistent memory store that saves information across sessions
## When to Activate
- Use **memory** from an MCP-aware client
- Official Core tasks that memory supports
- Register memory via `claude mcp add` or `.mcp.json`
## Installation
memory is an MCP server (stdio transport). Register it with Claude Code:

claude mcp add memory -- npx @modelcontextprotocol/server-memory
```
Or add to `.mcp.json`:
