Auto grade is independent of card grade. PSA/DNA, BGS, JSA, Beckett auth the auto. Sticker autos discount 30-50% vs on-card.
Always verify on-card vs sticker from the manufacturer release. Topps Chrome USA Baseball is on-card; Panini Origins is sticker.
PSA/DNA: 10 (perfect, no smearing) · 9 (clean, slight pressure variation) · 8 (visible flaw) · 7 (moderate flaw) BGS: Same 1-10 but with sub-grades on legibility, ink quality JSA / Beckett Auth: Authentication only, no condition grade
Submit autos to PSA/DNA for sports + PSA for the card. PSA bundles both — single fee, single slab. BGS and CGC also offer dual-grade. SGC does NOT grade autos.
