Search clinical practice guidelines and expert consensus for AUTHORITATIVE recommendations: treatment standards, drug safety and dosing, and management decisions. Use whenever the answer must rest on an authoritative recommendation rather than general explanation - especially medication questions, pregnancy, pediatrics, and anything urgent. Does NOT cover lay health education; use search_knowledge for that.
Search patient-facing health education content: lay explanations of what a disease is, typical symptoms, and everyday prevention. Use ONLY when a general explanation is what's needed. Does NOT cover treatment standards, drug safety or dosing - use clinical_guideline for anything that must rest on an authoritative recommendation.
Assess symptom risk level (low/medium/high/emergency). Use when user describes symptoms and needs risk evaluation to determine urgency of medical attention.
