Skill: Content engine
Content is a system, not a stream of posts (knowledge/content-marketing-engine.md). Brief against intent, cluster around pillars, measure leading signals.
Step 1 — Brief against an intent
No piece without a target search intent / job-to-be-done, funnel stage, angle, and CTA. No intent → no brief → it orphans.
Step 2 — Place it in a cluster
Fits a cluster, or warrants a new pillar page? Traverse the prioritization tree. Defer orphan one-offs.
Step 3 — Wire internal links
Bidirectional pillar ↔ cluster links. An unlinked page is invisible to crawlers and readers.
Step 4 — Distribute & measure
Owned/earned/paid distribution per piece; steer on leading signals (rankings, engagement, content-to-signup), judge on lagging contribution (influenced pipeline) — name the attribution model (§3 #2, §3 #4).
Output
A content plan: brief, cluster/pillar placement, internal-link map, distribution per channel, and the leading + lagging metrics. External benchmarks dated or marked [unverified] (§3 #8).
