Common Compliance Traps
- Helmet without EN 1078 = not for cycling: Selling a "general use" helmet for cycling in EU without EN 1078 cert = product withdrawal. EN 1080 (toy) ≠ EN 1078 (real cycling).
- Importing motorcycle helmet without ECE 22.06: Motorcycle helmets in EU need UN R22 (ECE 22.06 from 2024). Even if EN 1078 (cycling) approved, NOT valid for motorcycle.
