This is the architecture skill for high-ticket webinar funnels - Wayland's fusion-named The Conviction Webinar. The Conviction Webinar is Wayland-coined. It synthesizes the multi-secret belief-shift cadence (popularized by Russell Brunson) + Frank Kern's stick strategy + Eben Pagan's moving-the-free-line attraction-marketing + Stu McLaren's membership-style close into one 60–90 minute conversion event.

The 4-Stage Architecture
The Conviction Webinar is structured in 4 stages over 60–90 minutes (60 minutes content + 30 minutes pitch + Q&A is the standard cadence).
Stage 1 - The Pre-Frame (0:00–10:00)
Job: earn the next 80 minutes of attention. Set the one big idea the webinar will deliver. Create the frame that everything downstream lands inside.
The pre-frame principle (popularized by Eben Pagan attraction-marketing; lineage to Brunson's "Big Domino Statement"). The pre-frame answers: "Why is what I'm about to say the most important thing you'll hear today?"
Components:
Pattern interrupt opening (0:00–0:30). A specific, surprising claim or story that earns attention. Not "thanks for being here."
The One Thing promise (0:30–2:00)."By the end of this 90 minutes, you'll know exactly how to [outcome]. That's the one thing."
Credibility anchor (2:00–4:00). Brief presenter credibility - story, results, qualifications. Not a bio. A reason to believe.
The big-domino statement (4:00–7:00). The single belief that, if it shifts, makes the offer obvious. "If I can prove that [counter-intuitive thing], everything else changes."
The agenda (7:00–10:00). What we'll cover - the three (or four) belief-shifts we'll work through.
Stick strategy here - the full Kern mechanic, not just a citation: Kern's stick is a future-pacing pre-frame that operates in three moves inside the first 10 minutes:
Name three specific reveals on the agenda slide (not "I'll share bonuses" - name them: "At minute 75 I'm walking through the exact Module 2 framework I've never shared in a webinar before. At minute 82 I'm reading two unedited buyer emails from last cohort. At minute 88 I'm answering the one question I hate getting.").
Drop a "you'll know what to do whether or not you buy" promise. Kern's specific phrasing is the give-them-the-result-in-advance promise - they get something usable from the webinar even if they never see your offer. This is what holds attendance through the pitch.
Set a "watch-for" anchor - a single phrase or visual cue you'll callback at minute 75 ("when I show you the [X] slide, you'll know we're in the part I promised you up front"). The callback at 75 closes the loop opened at minute 8.
Without all three moves, the stick is decorative. With them, attendance through minute 75 typically holds 60-75% vs the 30-40% that pure-Brunson webinars hit.
Stage 2 - The Content (10:00–60:00) - Three Belief Shifts
Job: systematically dismantle the three beliefs that block the buyer from saying yes to the offer.
The three-secret structure (popularized by Russell Brunson; lineage to Schwartz's market-sophistication staging). The three beliefs are NOT about the product - they're about the buyer's worldview.
The 3 belief shifts (in order):
Belief Shift 1 - The Vehicle (10:00–25:00)
The buyer believes the wrong vehicle (method, approach, tool, framework) is the right path to the outcome.
"You believe X is how you get to the outcome. Actually, X has been failing for the last decade and Y is what's working now. Here's why."
Components:
The wrong belief named explicitly
The evidence the wrong belief is failing (case studies, data, named examples)
The right belief / unique mechanism named (this is the Conviction Webinar's named method)
A small concrete win the attendee can take from this section even if they don't buy
Belief Shift 2 - The Internal Beliefs (25:00–42:00)
The buyer believes something about themselves that blocks them from believing the outcome is achievable.
"You believe you can't get this outcome because of [internal limiting belief]. Actually, here's why that doesn't apply."
Components:
Common internal blocks named (age, experience, skill, time, money)
Counter-examples - case studies of people with the same internal block who got the outcome
The reframe - why the internal block is a symptom of the wrong vehicle (Belief 1) rather than a real limit
Reverse social proof - "if X who looked just like you got it, you can"
Belief Shift 3 - The External Beliefs (42:00–60:00)
The buyer believes something about the world / market / circumstances that blocks them.
"You believe the market is too crowded / the timing is wrong / the economy makes it impossible. Actually, here's why that's exactly when this works."
Components:
External blocks named (market saturation, timing, economy, regulation)
Counter-evidence - why the external block doesn't apply, or why it actually creates the opportunity
Specific case studies of people who got the outcome IN the same external conditions
The "now is the moment" reframe
Belief-shift sequencing rule: must be in order - vehicle → internal → external. Reversing the order leaves the buyer with internal/external doubts UNRESOLVED when the offer is revealed.
Pagan's moving-the-free-line - concrete mid-webinar mechanic at minute 22-25: Pagan's principle says the operator who gives away the single most valuable insight in their entire body of work during the free content wins the trust the pitch needs. Most operators violate this because they're afraid the give-away cannibalizes the buy. It doesn't - the give-away proves the rest is worth paying for.
At minute 22-25 (deep inside Vehicle), deliver the single insight you'd normally save for paying customers - the actual aha of your work, named in plain language with specific implementation detail. Not "the framework I teach" but "here's the line of the script that the rest of the script orbits, and here's why it's load-bearing."
Tell them you're giving it to them."This is the thing I usually charge for. I'm giving it to you here because if you don't believe I know what I'm doing by minute 25, nothing I say after will land."
Have them implement it on the call. 90-second pause. "Open a doc. Write down the next [thing]. Use exactly the structure I just gave you. I'll wait."
This move is what Pagan calls moving the free line - the buyer receives a small concrete result inside the webinar before the pitch, which dramatically lifts attendee-to-sale conversion. Operators who skip this and only "tease" the framework convert at Brunson-pure rates (5-8% on warm). Operators who run the full Pagan move convert at 12-18% on warm.
Stage 3 - The Pitch (60:00–80:00)
Job: transition from teaching to selling, reveal the offer, build the stack.
The pitch transition (popularized by Pagan's "moving the free line"; lineage to Brunson's stack reveal). The transition is the most fragile moment in the webinar - clumsy here = mass exodus.
Components:
The transition (60:00–62:00)."So now you know [the three shifts]. Some of you are thinking 'I can do this myself.' You can. Here's the path. Or - there's a faster way. I want to show you what we built."
The unique mechanism reveal (62:00–67:00). Name the method. Brand it (Wayland-coined name from funnels-offer). Show the mechanism's results.
The offer reveal (67:00–72:00). Core deliverable, what's in it, what it does.
The stack reveal (72:00–78:00). Each bonus revealed in persuasion order (handoff from funnels-offer-stack). Each bonus mapped to one of the three belief shifts.
The price reveal (78:00–80:00). Anchor → contrast → price (handoff from funnels-offer-pricing). With reason-why.
Stage 4 - The Close (80:00–90:00) - Stu McLaren-style multi-pass close
Job: convert the audience by closing from multiple angles + handling objections + creating urgency + repeat CTA.
The multi-pass membership-close (popularized by Stu McLaren in membership-launch work; lineage to Brunson stack-and-close + Cascade Close from the Donahoe Method). The close is not one CTA - it's 5–7 CTAs across multiple frames.
Stu McLaren's specific mechanic - three closes at 2-3 minute spacing, each addressing a different objection: McLaren's distinct contribution (vs Brunson's stack-and-close, which is one continuous arc) is the deliberate spaced repetition of the close, where each repetition addresses a different held-back objection. The cadence is not "stack the offer 5 times" - it's "close, breathe, close again from a different angle, breathe, close again from a third angle."
The three McLaren closes (each 2-3 minutes apart):
Close 1 - the "is this real?" objection at minute 84-86. The Stack Recap below names the specific deliverable price by price. Walks them through what arrives in their inbox tonight if they buy now. Removes "this is too good to be true" by making it concrete.
Close 2 - the "is this for me?" objection at minute 87-88. The Vision Close + a 90-second beat where you call out by name three buyer profiles you know are in the audience ("If you're a coach with a list under 1,000 - this is for you. If you've launched before and felt the launch fall flat - this is for you. If you've never launched and you're scared to start - this is for you.")
Close 3 - the "what if I fail?" objection at minute 89-90. The Door Close framed through the guarantee. "Here's what happens if you buy and it doesn't work for you: [exact guarantee mechanics]. Here's what happens if you don't buy: nothing. Same situation in 30 days. Pick one."
The 2-3 minute gap matters. McLaren's research (membership-launch case data) shows close-clustering (5 closes in 2 minutes) under-converts vs spaced (5 closes over 8 minutes) - the gap lets the objection surface and the next close land on it.
Components:
The guarantee restated (80:00–82:00). Risk-reversal in detail (handoff from funnels-offer-guarantee).
Scarcity / urgency reveal (82:00–84:00). Real cap, real deadline, with reason-why. "Cohort starts Monday. 100 seats. First 50 get the 1-on-1 audit."
Cascade Close pass 1 - The Stack Recap (84:00–86:00). Restate the stack value vs price.
Cascade Close pass 2 - The Vision Close (86:00–87:00)."30 days from now, you're either still where you are, or you're [outcome]. Which version of next month do you want?"
Cascade Close pass 3 - The Math Close (87:00–88:00)."Even if this gets you 1/10th of the result, it's a 10x ROI."
Cascade Close pass 4 - The Door Close (88:00–89:00)."Doors close [time]. After that the price goes up / the bonuses come off / the cohort fills. Click the link, get in, see you Monday."
Q&A live, with re-pitch in between answers (89:00–90:00+ - extends as long as Q&A runs). Each objection answered = one more chance to re-pitch. Stu McLaren rule: never end Q&A without one more CTA.

Phase 0 - Confirm inputs

Phase 3 - Author the content (3 belief-shift sections)
10+ minutes. Guarantee → scarcity → 4 cascade passes → live Q&A with re-pitches.
Phase 6 - Author the registration page + email sequence
Handoff to convert-webinar-reg-page for the reg page; handoff to funnels-daily-pivot for the email sequence (typically 5–7 emails: registration → reminder → live → replay → cart-close).

Notes
Single most common Conviction Webinar mistake: front-loading the pitch. Operators get nervous and start selling at minute 30. The audience hasn't had their beliefs shifted yet - the pitch lands flat. Hold the pitch until minute 60. The 50 minutes of belief-shift work is what makes the pitch convert.
Second most common mistake: weak Belief Shift 3 (external). Operators handle vehicle + internal beliefs but punt on external. Result: buyer says yes intellectually but doesn't buy because "the market is too crowded." Don't skip Belief Shift 3.
Third most common mistake: ending the close after one CTA. Stu McLaren rule: never end Q&A without one more CTA. Each answered objection = one more chance to re-pitch.
Stick strategy is non-negotiable. Without a reason to stay through minute 75, attendance collapses. The minute-75 bonus reveal IS the stick strategy.
TM hygiene: Brunson, Kern, Pagan, Stu McLaren, Schwartz appear in body for educational lineage. The Wayland fusion name "The Conviction Webinar" is used everywhere user-facing. Branded phrases (Perfect Webinar, Mass Control) appear nowhere in user-facing output.
