What This Skill Does
Challenge: Every marketing team has unique processes and tools. The built-in skills in ClaudeKit Marketing are great for common use cases but may not cover the specifics of each business.
Solution: The kit-builder skill provides a framework to create custom skills, agents, and workflows — from simple slash commands to complex multi-agent pipelines — and integrate them into ClaudeKit Marketing.

Prerequisites
- ClaudeKit Marketing installed
- Node.js 18+ or Python 3.10+
- Anthropic API key or Google Gemini API key
Usage Workflow
- Identify component type: skill / agent / workflow.
- Read the relevant reference in
references/ to grab the template.
- Write SKILL.md first — describe purpose, activation, tools, output.
- Implement core logic based on the template.
- Register in
registry.json.
- Test with unit tests before deploying.
