# Reviewing a KYC pack This produces a completeness report. It never approves or rejects a customer. ## Check in this order 1. **Present** — is every required document there for this customer type? 2. **Valid** — in date, legible, and the right document rather than a similar one. 3. **Consistent** — name, date of birth and address agree across documents and with the application. 4. **Current** — proof of address within the accepted window. ## Report as three lists **Blocking** (onboarding cannot proceed), **query** (needs the customer to clarify), and **noted** (a discrepancy that is explainable, with the explanation). Sorted blocking first. ## Flag without deciding A name that differs by more than transliteration, an address that does not match the application, a document from a jurisdiction outside the accepted list, or anything that looks edited. Say what you observed, not what it means. ## Never Approve, score risk, screen against a sanctions list, or conclude that a discrepancy is innocent. Every one of those is a person's decision with a name against it.
