Open Data Management

TL;DR — Deposit research data to Zenodo or OSF via API, generate rich Dublin Core / DataCite metadata, build a frictionless Data Package, write a machine-readable data dictionary, and produce a Data Management Plan (DMP) compliant with funder requirements.

DataCite vs Dublin Core

DataCite Metadata Schema 4.4: designed for research data and software. Required fields: identifier (DOI), creators, title, publisher, publicationYear, resourceType.
Dublin Core: simpler 15-element standard. Good for general-purpose metadata interchange (OAI-PMH, institutional repositories).
