• Tables, lists, code, and visuals improve comprehension.
• The article is skimmable without becoming shallow.
• Calls to action match the reader's likely next step.
• The ending resolves the promise without repeating the introduction.

Reader discipline

• Evaluate the article for the named audience, not for every possible reader.
• Distinguish a genuine comprehension gap from a personal style preference.
• Do not request more length unless a missing section materially blocks the reader.
• Flag examples that require knowledge the article never introduced.
• Preserve useful complexity when simplifying it would become misleading.
