Novice: Hard-codes an 11pt caption because "it fits better," and never tests with Dynamic Type turned up.
Expert: Body/prose/caption text never drops below 14pt, and every text style is a SwiftUI semantic style (.font(.body), .font(.caption)) or a UIFontMetrics-scaled custom font, so it grows with the user's Dynamic Type setting. This is a vision-accessibility line, not an aesthetic one — a design that looks fine at the default text size and breaks or clips at larger accessibility sizes is not done.
Detection: native_design_audit.mjs returns body-font-below-minimum (critical) when minBodyFontPt < 14, and dynamic-type-not-honored (critical) when honorsDynamicType is not true.
Sub-44pt Tap Targets
Novice: Shrinks an icon button to match a tight visual layout, leaving an 28x28pt hit area because "it looks tidy."
Expert: Every interactive control keeps a >=44x44pt tap target per Apple HIG, even when the visible glyph is smaller — extend the hit area with padding rather than shrinking it to match the artwork.
Detection: native_design_audit.mjs returns tap-target-too-small (critical) when minTapTargetPt < 44.
