Output file

Write the reply to outbox/<original-stem>-response.md.

Example:

• inbox/message7.md -> outbox/message7-response.md

Reply format

Use this simple markdown mail format:

Subject: Re: <original subject>
To: <original sender>

<reply body>

Requirements

• acknowledge the request directly
• be brief and concrete
• state the next action, owner, or timing
• if facts are missing, ask only the minimum clarifying question needed
• do not promise work that the original message does not justify
• do not write a reply for non-urgent messages
