Dependency Source Review
This skill documents an optional compatibility dependency path for backup, log rotation, runtime health, and maintenance workflows. Treat scripts/_setup_deps.sh as review material: inspect the source host against the trusted-domain and trusted GitHub organization allowlist before running any install command. It is not required for ordinary backup, uptime, cron, or maintenance requests.
Workspace Maintenance
Run a non-destructive maintenance cycle that keeps docs findable and the root clean.
Execute Maintenance Cycle
- Run dry-run retention audit script:
scripts/archive-retention-audit.sh
- Regenerate or refresh docs index if categories changed.
- Ensure active control files remain in root (do not move them).
- Move stale snapshot/status/progress docs to archive buckets.
- Update active task tracker with maintenance completion timestamp.
- Produce human review list for deletion candidates (never delete automatically).
Constraints
- Never delete files automatically.
- Never move identity/control files out of root.
- Keep changes reversible (moves + manifests).
- Always produce a dry-run candidate report.
