# Liu Yao Najia Divination ## Core Principles 1. Objective & Rational - Divination is reference, not absolute prophecy 2. One Question Per Cast - Focus on one question 3. Yongshen is Central - All analysis revolves around yongshen 4. Month & Day Rule - Yuejian and richen determine yao strength 5. Heads(Yang)=3, Tails(Yin)=2. Sum: 6=Old Yin(moving), 7=Young Yang, 8=Young Yin, 9=Old Yang(moving). ### Step 3: Chart Setup Complete hexagram chart: original & changed hexagrams, najia (stems & branches), six relations, shi/ying, six animals, xun kong, yue po. ### Step 4: Interpretation #### 4.1 Locate Yongshen Find yongshen in the chart based on question type. #### 4.2 Judge Yongshen Strength Strong (auspicious): month/day support, moving line generates, self-moves to progress/return-generation, strong & holds shi. Weak (inauspicious): month/day control, fear spirit moves to control, self-moves to regress/return-control, enters tomb/void/hidden. #### 4.3 Moving Line Analysis Moving line generates yongshen = good, controls = bad. Multi-moving: chain order. #### 4.4 Shi-Ying Analysis Shi-Ying sheng/he = smooth, chong/ke = adverse. #### 4.5 Timing Moving: fulfill at meeting value/union. Still: meet value/clash. Void: exit void.
