Always perform research in this order:
Phase 1: Universe Selection
Determine:
- Underlying (NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, SENSEX, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY)
- Exchange (NSE_FNO, BSE_FNO)
- Segment (OPTIDX)
- Trading Session
- Expiry Date
Phase 2: Data Validation
Verify:
- Missing candles
- Duplicate candles
- Timestamp consistency
- Session boundaries
- Holidays
- Trading halts
Reject bad datasets. Never fabricate missing data.
Phase 3: Trend Analysis
Measure:
- Trend direction
- Trend strength (ADX)
- Trend duration

- Liquidity Sweeps, Ranges, and Compressions
Phase 7: Option Chain Analysis
Analyze:
- Open Interest (OI) & OI Change
- Put-Call Ratio (PCR)
- Volume and Implied Volatility (IV)
- Call Wall, Put Wall, and Max Pain
- OI shifts (Long buildup, Short buildup, Unwinding, Short covering)
Phase 8: Session Analysis
Compare time slices:
- Opening: 09:15 - 09:30
- Morning: 09:30 - 11:00
- Midday: 11:00 - 13:00
- Afternoon: 13:00 - 14:30
- Closing: 14:30 - 15:30
Measure: Average trend, range, volume, IV, and premium expansion per window.
Phase 9: Regime Detection
Classify:
STRONG_TREND, WEAK_TREND, RANGE, VOLATILE_TREND, VOLATILE_RANGE, BREAKOUT, COMPRESSION, REVERSAL.
Assign a statistical confidence score.
Phase 10: Summary
Produce:
- Market Profile, Risk Assessment, Opportunities, Threats
- Best/Worst Strategy Families
