| name | deliver-cumcm-paper |
| description | Assemble and preflight evidence-backed mathematical-modeling competition papers in official Word, LaTeX, or PDF formats. Use when the primary request is template-compliant manuscript delivery, native equation handling, frozen-result insertion, format audit, or final page-by-page visual inspection. |
Deliver CUMCM Paper
Prepare the requested competition manuscript from frozen evidence. This Skill owns document assembly and submission preflight; it does not invent model results or promote unvalidated claims.
Delivery workflow
- Lock the contest, official template/notice, anonymity rules, page limit, source-of-truth files, and delivery profile:
contest-word, cumcm-latex, or a declared custom paper package. Recheck current official rules before external submission.
- Confirm all manuscript numbers come from
results/frozen-results.json or another explicitly approved source. Mark stale, diagnostic-only, or candidate values unavailable for final prose.
- Preserve the official template. Record source files, conversion/build tools, exact commands, versions, logs, outputs, and hashes.
- Insert tables, figures, and text from verified artifacts; do not retype canonical values across multiple files.
- Run format-specific structural checks and render the final document.
- Inspect every rendered page for equations, figures, tables, page breaks, fonts, Chinese text, references, anonymity, and overflow. A programmatic pass cannot replace visual inspection.
- Return only the requested manuscript/package plus concise audit status and unresolved risks.
Word profile
Read references/contest-word-delivery.md.
- Preserve the official DOC/DOCX layout and styles.
- Convert every mathematical formula from LaTeX through Pandoc into native Word OMML. Never use formula screenshots, plain Unicode assembly, or image fallbacks.
- Verify
m:oMath/m:oMathPara objects and expected equation counts inside the DOCX package.
- Open/render with Microsoft Word when available, export the PDF from the same DOCX, and inspect every page.
- Confirm the final equations remain editable and report compatibility mode.
If Pandoc or a faithful Word render is unavailable, report the blocked check instead of silently weakening the deliverable.
LaTeX profile
Read references/cumcm-2026-latex.md.
- Build from the current versioned template under
assets/latex/cumcm-2026/.
- Use
scripts/render_frozen_results.py for canonical values when applicable.
- Compile with
scripts/build_cumcm_latex.py.
- Run
scripts/audit_cumcm_latex.py --strict for layout, abstract order, anonymity, references, cross-references, placeholders, support archive, and file size.
- Inspect the compiled PDF page by page.
Paper rules
- Keep problem analysis, formulation, solution, validation, conclusion, and limitations consistent with frozen evidence.
- Keep symbols, units, scenarios, model names, captions, tables, and numbers synchronized.
- Do not claim a prize, causality, external generalization, Pareto coverage, robustness, or literature novelty beyond recorded evidence.
- Preserve editable source, build/render logs, and hashes needed to reproduce the final paper.
- Update year-specific rules and templates instead of silently reusing an older contest format.
