You have tried philosophical suicide - attempting to convince yourself "it doesn't matter" or to substitute "smaller" meanings. These have failed because you are honest enough to see through them. This is actually good news. You have not succeeded in lying to yourself. The question now is whether you will tip toward despair (physical withdrawal from meaningful engagement) or toward revolt.
Revolt: Continue your work with full consciousness that it will not grant immortality. Show up tomorrow, not because success awaits, but because showing up is what you do. Your refusal to quit in the face of futility IS the revolt.
