## Theme 2: Remote Work and Productivity

Anti-Patterns
- Cherry-picking sources -- selecting only studies that support a predetermined conclusion while ignoring contradictory evidence. Present the full landscape.
- Confirmation bias in search -- using narrow search terms that only return expected results. Use broad, neutral terms and document the strategy.
- Citation without synthesis -- listing study after study ("Smith found X. Jones found Y.") instead of comparing, contrasting, and drawing thematic conclusions.
- Treating all sources as equal -- a single pilot study (n=12) does not carry the same weight as a multi-site RCT (n=2,000). Note study quality.
- Fabricating or hallucinating citations -- AI-generated references must be verified. Never present a citation you cannot confirm exists.
