When to Use

Use when two or more forces participate in the pattern:

• multiple revealed stems
• transformed/secondary pattern candidates
• 财官、财食、煞食、官伤、印财等 interacting structures

Procedure

1. Identify active forces that truly participate in the pattern.
2. Determine whether their relationship is mutual support, proper control, or destructive conflict.
3. Mark as 纯 when forces cooperate or control each other appropriately.
4. Mark as 杂 when forces undermine each other or pursue incompatible directions.
5. Explain as “协同/内耗” for product-facing output.
