ALL CAPS is for short labels (1-3 words), not headlines. Letter-spacing 0.05-0.1em. Avoid for body text — reduces readability 20%.

Where ALL CAPS works

1. Labels: 'NEW', 'BETA', 'LIVE'
2. Section markers: 'INTRODUCTION', 'PART ONE'
3. Nav items: 'TOOLS', 'PRICING' (with restraint)
4. CTAs: 'BEGIN', 'CONTINUE' (with weight)
5. Logo / wordmark
6. Brand callouts: 'BUGATTI', 'X3 FLEET SAFETY'

Where ALL CAPS fails

1. Headlines (>4 words)
2. Body text
3. Sentence-style sub-headers
4. Tooltips, alerts
5. Form labels (sentence case preferred)

ALL CAPS treatment

Always add:

• Letter-spacing 0.05-0.1em (caps need breathing)
• Slightly tighter line-height (1.1-1.2)
• Smaller size than sentence-case equivalent (caps appear visually larger)
• Same weight as paragraph context
