Lifting Index (LI):
LI = Load Weight (kg) / RWL
LI ≤ 1.0: acceptable; LI = 1.0–3.0: increased risk; LI > 3.0: high risk → redesign required

Situation Awareness (SA) — Endsley Model
Three levels of Situation Awareness:
Level 1: Perception — awareness of elements in environment (data in; temperature, speed, threat)
Level 2: Comprehension — understanding current situation (integrated understanding)
Level 3: Projection — predicting future state (anticipation; decision-making basis)
SA loss factors:
High workload, stress, poor display design, distractions → SA degradation → error
Automation → complacency → loss of Level 1 SA ("automation out-of-the-loop" problem)
Human Error Taxonomy (GEMS — Generic Error Modeling System)
Three error types (Reason, 1990):
