When to Use

Use this skill whenever a teammate needs customer-facing marketing copy – a product announcement email or a slide/deck outline. It exists so anyone can produce on-brand content without memorizing the style guide.

Setup

Load references/brand-guidelines.md before drafting. It contains the voice, tone, approved terminology, and formatting rules that every piece of content must follow.

Workflow

Step 1: Gather the brief

Ask the user for:

1. Content type: announcement email or slide outline
2. Product or topic: what is being announced or presented
3. Audience: e.g., existing customers, prospects, retail partners
4. Key points: 2–4 things the content must communicate

Step 2: Draft against the guidelines

Draft the requested content, applying references/brand-guidelines.md:

• Open with the approved brand hook, not a generic greeting.
• Use the sanctioned voice (confident, plainspoken, outdoors-forward) and terminology.
• Keep paragraphs short; lead with the customer benefit before the feature.
• End with the standard call to action for the content type.

Step 3: Present with a compliance note

Return the draft, then add a short "Brand check" list showing which guideline rules you applied (voice, terminology, structure, CTA). This makes it easy for the user to verify the copy is on-brand before publishing.
