Triggers: brand content, marketing copy, launch email, announcement, deck outline, slide outline, on-brand, style guide. |
Brand Content
Generate marketing copy that adheres to Peak Outfitters' brand voice and style guidelines.
When to Use
Use this skill whenever a teammate needs customer-facing marketing copy – a product
announcement email or a slide/deck outline. It exists so anyone can produce on-brand
content without memorizing the style guide.
Setup
Load references/brand-guidelines.md before drafting. It contains the voice, tone,
approved terminology, and formatting rules that every piece of content must follow.
Workflow
Step 1: Gather the brief
Ask the user for:
- Content type: announcement email or slide outline
- Product or topic: what is being announced or presented
- Audience: e.g., existing customers, prospects, retail partners
- Key points: 2–4 things the content must communicate
⚠️ STOP: Confirm the brief before drafting so you don't waste effort on the wrong angle.
Step 2: Draft against the guidelines
Draft the requested content, applying references/brand-guidelines.md:
- Open with the approved brand hook, not a generic greeting.
- Use the sanctioned voice (confident, plainspoken, outdoors-forward) and terminology.
- Keep paragraphs short; lead with the customer benefit before the feature.
- End with the standard call to action for the content type.
Step 3: Present with a compliance note
Return the draft, then add a short "Brand check" list showing which guideline rules you
applied (voice, terminology, structure, CTA). This makes it easy for the user to verify
the copy is on-brand before publishing.
⚠️ STOP: Final review with the user.
Stopping Points
- ✋ Step 1: Brief confirmed
- ✋ Step 3: Final review before the content is used
Output
An on-brand announcement email or slide outline, plus a short brand-compliance checklist.
