take-steps

Move a counted number of steps in a direction. Each step is ~0.6 m; multiply by N and TRAVEL there with moveTo (the engine generates the gait and clamps to room bounds).

How

• One step ≈ 0.6 m. Compute the destination from state.position {x,z} + state.faceDeg (0=+Z, 90=+X) and d = 0.6 * N:
  • forward: x'=x+sin(face)*d, z'=z+cos(face)*d
  • back: subtract instead of add
  • right: use heading face+90; left: use face-90
• Emit moveTo:{x:x', z:z'} and scale durationMs with N (~700 ms/step). NOTE: for left/right the engine turns to face the travel; to keep facing forward while side-stepping, use strafe-left/strafe-right.
