Cargo tank specifications are heavily codified. Each tank built to a DOT specification with mandatory features + inspection cycle.
Specifications dictate: tank thickness, material (steel/aluminum/stainless), pressure rating, overpressure relief, emergency shutoff valves, accident-damage protection.
Lapsed hydrostatic test. Damaged tank not properly repaired/re-certified. Wrong tank for material (DOT-407 for corrosive vs DOT-412).
Applied in the X3 Compass Hazmat Center add-on.
