Cold Email Contextual Outbound
Use this skill to help an agent create cold outbound that earns attention through relevance, not volume alone. The agent should reason about deliverability, offer testing, buyer worldview, personalization, objections, and speed of reply.
When to Use
- Draft a cold email campaign
- Test outbound offers or pain-point angles
- Personalize emails for senior buyers
- Build subject lines and first sentences from real research

Do not use this skill for newsletter writing, lifecycle email, support replies, or generic mass-blast copy.

Core Workflow
- Confirm the goal. Decide whether this is an offer test, booked-call campaign, intro-offer campaign, or relationship opener.
- Find the worldview. Identify what the buyer already believes, fears, wants, or invests in. Good outbound feels like it understands the buyer's situation before pitching.
- Mine real language. Pull phrases from sales calls, customer conversations, reviews, posts, interviews, or CRM notes. Prefer the buyer's own words.
- Write the offer as a test. Use a simple 30-40 word statement: if we could help you get outcome X in situation Y, would that be worth exploring?
- Personalize the subject and opener. Use research specific enough that the recipient can tell the email was meant for them.
- Preempt one objection. Name the most likely objection and answer it before the buyer has to raise it.
- Use a respectful CTA. Ask for time over the next week or two and offer to send the invite after they share availability. Avoid calendar-link dumping in first touch.
- Create variations. Preserve the same offer while varying frame, subject, proof, and wording to avoid brittle sameness.
- Plan reply handling. Route replies to a fast follow-up path. For high-intent replies, respond the same day and move toward a call.
