AutoAcad Ideate

Overview

Use this stage after literature synthesis and before committing to implementation. The goal is to produce falsifiable claims, not vague novelty language.

Workflow

1. Translate literature gaps into 2-4 prioritized research questions.
2. Generate falsifiable hypotheses. Each hypothesis must define: rationale, measurable prediction, and failure condition.
3. Pressure-test the contribution shape:
   • What is the 1-2 idea core?
   • Which claim requires the strongest evidence?
   • Which claim can be dropped if evidence is weak?
4. Decide whether the work is a refine, a pivot, or a dead end.
5. Record the chosen claim set and version it in PROGRESS.md.

Output Standard

Every proposed contribution must map to at least one planned experiment and one section of the paper.
