interrupt-or-change-action
Meta-skill for changing your mind. Each Action you emit REPLACES the one in
progress — there is no separate "cancel" command. So to interrupt or switch, simply
emit a single fresh Action describing the NEW desired state.
Composes: balance-and-posture (the neutral rest target when halting) +
walk (when the new intent is to go somewhere instead).
How
- "Stop" / "freeze" / "hold on" → emit a short Action that settles into a stable
neutral stance (rest pose) and stops travel. Don't send
moveTo.
- "Do X instead" → ignore the old motion and emit the Action for X (use the
relevant skill). The engine smoothly transitions from the current pose.
- "Stop walking" mid-travel → emit a neutral standing pose (no
moveTo); the
engine halts at the current position.
- Keep
durationMs short (~300–600) for a snappy interrupt.

Notes
There's no queue — the latest Action wins. For a full reset to standing, emit the
rest pose (see balance-and-posture).
