laser-vector

Inspect, trace, vectorize, clean, measure, normalize, convert, or repair raster, SVG, and DXF artwork for laser fabrication. Use for uploaded logos, silhouettes, sketches, photographs, ambiguous SVG scale, open DXF contours, duplicate paths, and trace candidate comparison.

# Laser vector 1. Read [references/trace.md](references/trace.md) for raster work or [references/vector-normalization.md](references/vector-normalization.md) for SVG/DXF. 2. Preserve the upload and write only derived outputs. 3. Establish one trusted physical dimension before claiming scale. 4. Run `scripts/laser-vector inspect INPUT --json` before modifying artwork. 5. For ambiguous raster tracing, run `scripts/laser-vector trace IMAGE --output-dir DIR` and compare at least two recorded candidates. Preserve photos as raster unless vectorization is requested. 6. Normalize with explicit millimeter dimensions and rerun inspection. 7. Return normalized output and its geometry report to `$laser-preflight`.
